A magnificent small
trek in lodge, that doesn't ask any important experience of the
trekking, and that takes place in the countryside around the
Kathmandu valley following the superb landscapes while passing
by villages that preserved their authenticity, culture and tradition.

Trekking Programme |
Day 1. Departure in local bus from Kathmandu
(1400m) to Shanku, historical city on the ancient road of Tibet.
Trek departure to Nagarkot 2100m, one of big point of view on
the Himalayan chain. About 4 hours of walk by trail, of which
one part is slightly rise. Attend the sunset on the Himalayan
chain, big panoramic view. Night in lodge at Nagarkot.
Day 2. Nagarkot, after sunrise on the Himalayan
chain, departure from Nagarkot by walk on road, forest and paddy
terrace, to arrive at Tukucha village and charming Nala village.
Journey of 5 to 6 h of walk end at Banepa where we found Chandeshowari
temple and a temple renovated by French help. Night in lodge
in Dhulikhel, second spectacular view on Himalayan chain.
Day 3. Departure by bus to Panauti (about 1h)
and trek until Godavari. Zigzag way between paddy field and different
cultures. About 5 to 6 h of walk. Night in lodge
Day 4: Departure by local bus to Chapagaon
and depart in trek by the super Nepali countryside with many
traditional Newari ethnic village. Climbing on Pharping village
where we found cave of "guru Rimpoche" who created
Tibetan Buddhism at 6th century at Samye in Tibet. He make retreat
of many years at Pharping. Night in lodge.
Day 5. Return to Kathmandu in your hotel, about
1/2 hours, or depart to any other performance. (we propose you
after this trek to go to visit of Chitwan (To visit Royal Chitwan
National Park and Pokhara (The entry point of Annapurna treks). |

Treks
in lodge:
Welcome at the airport,
transfer to hotel/airport. All treks are in full board. Accommodation
and meals in the Lodges (good quality locale food, the meals
are not order by each client in every lodge, but following the
menu proposed by the guide). All the transports (go/back
on the places of trek and during the trek). Accompany by a professional
Guide and one porter for 2 persons to carry your bags (maximum
20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking permit and reconfirmation of your
return plane ticket.

Trekking equipments,
professional Guide, kitchen boy and porters. Lodging under tent,
meals are prepared by cook. |

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
