treks: Camping trek includes

Porters carry all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal
belongings, and cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers
carry only small bag or what they might need during the day.

Day 01. DELHI-LEH.
Early in the morning transfer to airport for flight to Leh. On
arrival transfer to hotel. Leh is the capital of Ladakh. (3500m)
After few hours of rests to get used to the altitude. Visit Leh
monastery, Leh palace and Leh Bazaar. Overnight hotel
Day 02.
Leh - Lamayuru (3420 m)
After breakfast departure by car or jeep for the monastery of
ALCHI. This monastery is Situated at 69km west of Lhe. Alchi
Gompa was built on 11th century by the ancient king 'Rin-chen-Zangpo'.
Six sacred temples to be seen with attractive wall panting and
wood carving by Tibetan, Cashmere and Afghanistan artists. Drive
towards Lamayuru. Evening visit YUNGDRUNG monastery of Lamayuru.
This monastery is situated at 126km form Leh on the top hillside
of village. This 11th century old monastery was reputed for its
statues of Buddha, wall painting and attractive wood carving.

Day 03:
Lamayuru -Wanla (3550 m) .4h
You will follow the trail down to the valley for about 2 km before
diverting up the ridge to the east a trail that climbs up to
Prinkti La (3750 M) you will pass Shilakong valley before coming
to the village and monastery of Wanla. A campsite will be established
aside Wanla river, where you will spend the night. Overnight
tent.
Day 04.
Wanla-Hinju (3900m) in 5 h.
After breakfast, begin trekking across the main bridge and around
the bank of the Wanla river. The village of Panji La marks the
entrance of the Hinju valley. After touring the village school
and apricot orchards, continue your trek to Hinju village. This
village has three main settlements, the lower, the main, and
the upper Hinju village. You will pass through these three settlements
and camp at the base of Konze La pass. The rest of the day is
left at leisure to explore the surrounding landscape. Overnight
tent.
Day 05.
Hinju - Kungski La (4950 m) - Sumndha Chemno (4150 m) en 7 h.
After breakfast, trek on a steady climb past the Hinju village
and various goat and shepherd camps. The trail gradually winds
down to the valley past a lone Yak herder encampment, located
at the base of the Konze La pass (approx. 3 hours). From the
pass, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Ladakh range and
the Karokoram ranges. After a brief stop at the pass, start descending
back to the valley. The yak herders huts are occupied during
the summer months by villagers from the Sumdo Chumo village,
where you will camp for the night.Overnight tent.
Day 06.
Sumndha Chemno - camp before Dungdungchen La (4050 m) in 6 h.
After breakfast start trekking to the Dundunchen La base. Begin
walking along the river, where you will visit a small monastery
and some large stone statues of Maitreya Buddha. Reach the Dundunchen
La base after a steep ascent over a side ridge, taking about
an hour, but unparalleled in beauty as a profusion of edelweiss
and other wild flowers cover the ground. This afternoon is left
free to explore the area and recuperate after a strenuous morning.

Day 07.
Camp before Dungdungchen La (4050 m) Dungdungchen La (4700 m)
- Chilling ( 3350 m) 6 h
After breakfast, trek to the Chilling village. The trail winds
past the Yak herders camp before zigzagging across the slopes
to the pass. Enroute, there are splendid views of Konze La and
the Ladakh range. Upon arrival in Chilling, you will visit the
local craftsmen of the village. These local craftsmen claim to
be descendants of four craftsmen brought in from Nepal to construct
the gigantic Sakyamuni image at the Shey Monastery. All male
members of the village still practice ancestral crafts. Overnight
tent.
Day 08.
Chilling- Skiu (3510 m) 5 h.
After breakfast trek to Skiu Village. After few hours of Walk
leave the first team of Muel, then after crossing the river by
a cablecar. We will rejoin the new team of Muel. Stop in sku
village nice camp site in the bank of the river. Overnight tent.
Day 09:
Skiu - Markha (3850 m) 6 h.
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Markha (3550
M) after crossing Chaluk Village. Markha village has about 30
homes and from here you will enter the Markha Valley. Just east
of the village there is a Markha Gompa on a hill..
Day 10: Markha - Tchatchutse (Trek / 5 - 6 hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Tchatchutse via
Hankar village. Overnight tent.
Day 11:
Tchatchutse - Nimaling (4650 m) 4 h.
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Nimaling. Nimaling
(4900 M) has a sweeping pasture where thousands of sheep., goats,
yaks and cowyak crossbreeds graze during the summer months, rising
to the south is 6400 M high Kang Yaze (Nimaling Peak), a lovely
mountain, but not an easy one to climb, Overnight tent.
Day 12:
Nimaling - Kongmaru La 5150m- Shang Sumdo 3750m/7 h.
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Kongmaru La (5150
M). The trek to Kongmaru la passes through narrow Gorges. At
the top of the pass, view of the Ladakh range and the villages
of the Indus valley to the north is excellent. Cross the pass
and proceed to Shang. Overnight tent.
Day 13:
Shang Sumdo - Hemis (3600 m) 3 h.
Morning after breakfast start your last leg of the trek to Martselang
and further to Hemis. afternoon visit the monastery of Hemis.
Overnight tent.
Day 14:
Thiksey - Shey - Leh.
Pick up by jeep and visit the monastery of Thiksey and Shey and
return back to same hotel.
Day 15
: Leh - Delhi
transfer at the airport of Lhe. |

board. Lodging under tent, all the transports (go/back on the
places of trek and during the trek). Entrances fee of monuments
and monasteries Accompanied by a professional guide, and Minimum
3 Horses, Donkey or Mules for 2 persons to carry your bags and
equipments (maximum 25 kg for 2 persons). Meals are prepared
by cook and kitchen boy. IN Leh: Welcome at the airport,
transfer hotel/airport. Stander hotel (near center of town) with
