The travel and trek
in Mount Kailash will be on the occasion of full moon in May
2005. This is a Buddhist festival in all the Tibet, on the occasion
of "Saga Dawa". An important number of Tibetan pilgrims
will be in Mount Kailash for this event. And 3 days of walk around
the Mount KAILASH (about 5h per day, a pass at 5600m). Mount
KAILASH and MANASARAWA lake, very important place for the Buddhist
and Hinduism pilgrims, are open from a few years for western
people. |

|
Day 1. Departure of Paris by
regular line. (inclusive plane in the proposed price).
D.2. arrived to Kathmandou,
welcome to the airport, and installation to the TENKI hotel.
A very well situated Hotel, quietness and own, to 2 minutes of
Thamel centers. To 10 minutes on foot of DURBAR SQUARE. Restoring
in the hotel
D.3. visit of SWAYAMBUNATH
and BODHNAT superb temple and Buddhist Stuppas. After free noon.
D.4. KATHMANDOU, departure
early the morning in bus for ZHANGMU, passage of the border to
kodari to the Bridge of the friendship. Formalities of passage
in Tibet that can take 1/2 hour at 3 o'clock... the Chinese are
very finicky. In principle the 4x4 Land Roverses wait for us
after the passage of the bridge, but in case of bad state of
the road, rise toward Zhangmu in open truck (1h). If formalities
are not too long, change die the arrival in Chinese silver to
the bank of Zhangmu. If the change can not take place to the
arrival, it is necessary to wait for the opening of the bank
the following day morning before can leave. (lodging in Guest
House)
D.5. departure in 4X4 of Zhangmu
as following the river SAGA us brings up to 4000m of altitude,
discovery of the PAIKUTSO lake and the SHISHABAMA mount. (tent).
D.6. Departure of the SAGA
camp in 4X4 to rejoin the one of PARYANG (Alt 4100m)., along
the journey mountains of rocky chain sand and the PARYANG river,
one can see in wild antelope road and the LOPU mount GANGRI 7098m.
D.7. PARYANG departure in
4X4 for HOR. In road, bring in Paryang and Hor, one will discover
the NYOGZE lake and the MANASARAWA lake (Mansarovar) We will
certainly meet some nomadic Tibétainses. (Not to wonder
if they pull you the language it is a sign of welcome in tibétain).

Trekking (Circumambulation) around the mount Mount Kailash while
following pilgrims that turn around the sacred mount in the ritual
sense, while passing then by the red cliffs of throats of LHA
CHU while bringing up by the collar of the Domala 5600M that
gets round the Mount Kailash. To 5400m the GAURIKUND lake, or
pilgrims take a ritual bath and do then of offerings coming down
toward the monastery of Zutrul before continuing toward DARCHEN.
(About 5h of march per day) The transport of all the material
camping, kitchen, supplies etc, and sacks of participants are
assured by yaks. You can rent a yak to transport you during these
three days. (has see has Darchen there).

Reconfirmation of return plane tickets in your country. Sightseeing

Entry Nepali visa. Airport taxes in the departure from Nepal

of the supplementary expenses, it is suggest to take a visa at
arrival in Kathmandu airport or in embassy of Nepal in Your country
, and you needs to take again double enter visa (second) when
you return from Tibet. |

Note : Since your enter in Tibet (chine) we
are not the master of work, the Chinese take relay, and it is
arrived some times that they change the programs or lodging…
We can't take responsibility in any case of every sort of change
interval, land slides, of the road obstructs, of all accidental
event, natural disaster, or politic events which can change the
travel course, which would shorten it or would lengthen it and
some problems that ensue. All this doesn't give place to any
repayments. The Chinese reply us in case of problem, or that
they can't do anything, or that was decided by their Chinese
tourism office ….. which is an office of army occupation... |

During
the stay in Tibet, accommodation under tents at 2 places and
in Hotel and Guest House, travelling in van Land Cruiser (6 to
8 hours per day) accompanied by a Tibetan guide, English speaking..
During the trek (Kora) bags and tents are carried by Yaks. Meals
prepared by an experienced cook. Accommodation in 4 star hotel
of good quality in Kathmandu. |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |
