This hike lets you to come closer to high Himalayan peaks. The
panorama of snow-capped peaks reaching as high as 7000m and sometimes
even as high as 8000m cuts your breath short. Along the hills
and through the cultivated terraced fields and forest. You will
come across a variety of ethnic village and will find from closer
look of the well preserved culture and tradition of the mountain
people. An authentic trek where the lovely mountains accompany

Day 1. Arrival in KATHMANDU. welcome at airport
and transfer to the Hotel in centre Thamel. (Hotel included).
D.2. Free day in Kathmandu. Hotel included.
D.3. Departure form Kathmandu for POKHARA
by tourist bus (6h). Hotel near of lake. (if you want to go Pokhara
by flying over the Himalayas, The supplement of 76 US dollars
per person) (hotel included)
D.4. Departure from Pokhara for TOLKA (1400m)--5
hours walk with panoramic view of MACHHAPUCHHARE, south ANNAPURNASS,
HIUNCHULI..
D.5. Departure from TOLKA for Ghandruk (1951m),
the most important village of Gurungs, Famous and reputed warriors
that form the GURKHA battalions.
D.6. Departure from GHANDRUK for BANTHANTI
(1800m) -- 6 hours of walk through the wild rhododendron forest.
D.7. Departure from Banthanti for GHOREPANI
(2800m) - 5 hours of uphill walk -- magnificent view of the ANNAPURNA,
DHAULAGIRI, TUKUCHE, CHUREN HIMAL, MACHHAPUCHHARE, NILGIRI --
the ethnic group of MAGAR village.
D.8. Short climb towards POONHILL (3200m),
the highest point of the trek from where we can see high snow-capped
peaks, and trek to HILLE (1300m)--5 hours walk .villages of the
MAGARS and GURUNG
D.9. Departure for NAYAPUL (30 minutes),
then local bus to POKHARA. Hotel near the lake. (hotel included)
D.10. Departure from POKHARA for KATHMANDU
by tourist bus.. (if you would like come back to Kathmandu by
flying over the Himalayas, the supplement is 76 US dollars).

Treks
in lodge:
Welcome at the airport,
transfer to hotel/airport. Comfortable 2 stars hotel (near center
of Thamel) with breakfast, rooms with double bed/shower. All
treks are in full board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges
(good quality locale food, the meals are not order by each
client in every lodge, but following the menu proposed by the
guide). All the transports (go/back on the places of trek
and during the trek). Accompany by a professional Guide and one
porter for 2 persons to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2
persons). Trekking permit and reconfirmation of your return plane
ticket.

under tent:
Trekking equipments,
professional Guide, kitchen boy and porters. Lodging under tent,
meals are prepared by cook. |

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
