the best varied approach of Nepal. A trek that starts from Langtang
to end up in the Helambu region. View of numerous Himalayan peaks
and discovery of the sacred lakes of Gosaikund, an important
pilgrimage site of Hindu religion. Crossing of villages of different
ethnic groups ( Sherpa, Tamang, Brahmin, Tibetan) with welcoming
and smiling villagers all along the way. Terraced fields, rhododendrons,
orchids, and forests according to the altitudes. A thoroughly

D.1. Arrival in Kathmandu, welcome at the
airport and transfer to hotel. Hotel Included
D.2. Free day in Kathmandu, Hotel included.
D.3. Kathmandu for DHUNCHE (1850m), by local
bus (6h) big Tamang village, trek starting point.
D.4. DHUNCHE for SHABRU (2250m), beautiful
village, beginning of Langtang, superb views of GANESH HIMAL
(the mountain of elephant-head god).
D.5. SHABRU for SHIN GOMPA, a cheese producing
Tibetan monastery. Up hill walk through a very beautiful forest
up to SHIN GOMPA (3250m).
D.6. Shin GOMPA for the holy Lakes of GOSAIKUND
(4380m). The lakes are often snow-covered in autumn and spring.
D.7. GOSAIKUND (4380m) for GHOPTE (3430m)
by crossing the pass of LAUREBINAYAK at 4650m.
D.8. GHOPTE for MELAMCHI GAON (2650m) by passing through
THAREPATI PASS (3565m). MELAMCHI GAON, a very beautiful and welcoming
Sherpa village. Here, we enter into the region of HELAMBU.
D.9. MELAMCHI GAON for TARKHEGAYANG (2700m).
This village is inhabited by the Sherpa and the Tibetan and there
is a temple and a small Tibetan monastery. (5h)
D.10. TARKHEGAYANG for TIMBU (1800m), a small
Brahmin village.
D.11.
TIMBU for TALAMARANG
and MELAMCHI PUL BAZAR. Return to Kathmandu in local bus. (5h).
Return to same hotel in Kathmandu. Hotel included

Welcome at the airport,
transfer to hotel/airport. Comfortable 2 stars hotel (near center
of Thamel) with breakfast, rooms with double bed/shower. All
treks are in full board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges
(good quality locale food, the meals are not order by each
client in every lodge, but following the menu proposed by the
guide). All the transports (go/back on the places of trek
and during the trek).Plane
Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu.
Accompany by a professional Guide and one porter for 2 persons
to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking permit
and reconfirmation of your return plane ticket.

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
