very rich in cultural diversity varying according to the altitudes.
With terraced fields (of rice, wheat) on the way, you will pass
through numerous ethnically different villages ( Tamangs, Sherpas,
Tibetans, Brahmins ) always accompanied by the ever-smiling &
welcoming villagers. Immense rhododendrons forests (from 2000m
onwards) with 10m high trees blossoming in March/April, and many
orchids hanging on the mosses of the trees. An authentic region
less touched by tourism. Panoramic views over the majestic Himalayan
summits, especially from Tarkhegyang and Sarmathang. The trekkers
needs little walking experience and a fair physical condition.
