Its one of
the best short trek of Nepal, for those who want an easy trek
and to see the mountains and the mountain people (with lodges
at every stop-over).This trek unfolds in the Gurung region, in
the charming slate-roofed villages. The Gurungs are the famous
warriors of the élite Gurkha battalion of British and
Indian armies. The Gurung women wear velvet waistcoats and numerous
jewelleries. You will cross the rhododendron forests and terraced
paddy fields in this very beautiful middle mountains of Annapurnas.
A very beautiful short trek that can be carried out in family
with children and that which will show you various facets of
Nepal. Minimum altitude in Pokhara 900m, maximum altitude in
Ghandrung at 1951m. 4 to 5 h of walk per day. |

Day1. Departure fram Kathmandu for Pokhara
(919m) in tourist bus, about 6h, and drive up to Phedi (1346m)
(Night in Lodge).
D2. Departure from Phedi for Landrung (1646m)

D4. Descending towards
Birethanti (1121m), drive to Pokhara. |

Treks
in lodge:
Welcome at the airport,
transfer to hotel/airport. All treks are in full board. Accommodation
and meals in the Lodges (good quality locale food, the meals
are not order by each client in every lodge, but following the
menu proposed by the guide). All the transports (go/back
on the places of trek and during the trek).Accompany by a professional
Guide and one porter for 2 persons to carry your bags (maximum
20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking permit and reconfirmation of your
return plane ticket.

professional Guide, kitchen boy and porters. Lodging under tent,
meals are prepared by cook. |

Hotel, Lunch and Dinner
in Kathmandu and Pokhara (except breakfast), drinks during all

visa (40 dollars cash), Plane ticket from your country and airport

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

the profits earned by our agency are used entirely for operating
a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
providing scholarships for the poor childrens. You can see our
