Day 1. Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu, welcome in airport and installation in
hotel. Standard Hotel.
Day 2. Kathmandu visit
guided visit of Pashupatinath and of ancient Royal capital of
Patan. Hotel standard in Kathmandu
Day 3. Kathmandu visit
guided visit of Swyambhunath and the village of Khokana and Bungamati.
Hotel standard in Kathmandu
Day 4.
Kathmandu
- Ichangu
Departure by car for the Ichangu hill, a half an hour of walk
before arriving in monastery of Nhiden Hoseling. Night in the
monastery
Day 5.
Ichangu
visit
Visit of village and of the Narayana temple. Night in the monastery.
Day 6.
Ichangu
- Shivapuri
Departure by car to the Budhanilkantha Narayan temple and drop
to the national park of Shivapuri, night in the nunnery of Nage
Gompa (nunnery of young nuns)
Day 7.
Shivapuri
Walk until the summit of Shivapuri (3 hours to go)
to the Bagh Dwar and return to Nage Gompa. Night in nunnery.
Day 8. Shivapuri - Kopan
Depart from Shivapuri to Kopan on foot, visit of villages and
a Kali Temple on the Bank of a stream and night in the monastery
of Kopan
Day 9. Kopan - Bodhanath
Departure on foot from Kopan to Boudhanath and visit of the bigest
stupa of Népal. Visit of Brechen monastary. Night in monastery.
Day 10.
Free
day in Bodhanath / return to Kathmandu
Free day or those who desire to tour around several monasteries
of Bodhanath is possible. Return to Kathmandu. Standard hotel
in Kathmandu
Day 11. Kathmandu - Nagarkot
Departure by tourist bus to Nagarkot. Hotel with the views of
Himalayas chain. Night in hotel. Standard hotel
Day 12.
Nagarkot
- Bhaktapur
Departure from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur by local bus and visit of
ancient royal capital of Bhaktapur. Return to Kathmandu, standard

day in Boudhanath / return to Kathmandu
Free day or to those who desire to make the tours of several
monasteries of Bodhanath is possible. Return to Kathmandu. Hotel

Day 11.
Kathmandu
- Nagarkot
Depart by tourist bus to arrive at Nagarkot. Hotel with the view
of Himalayas chain. Night in hotel. Hotel Standard
Day 12. Nagarkot - Bhaktapur
Depart from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur by local bus and visit of ancient
royal capital of Bhaktapur. Night in Guesthouse.
Day 13.
Bhaktapur
- Namoboudha
Depart to Dhulikhel by car with panorama of the himalaya and
continue to Namoboudha, night in Thrangu Tashi Choeting monastery.
Day 14.
Namoboudha

Visit of stupa and of a small traditional village, night in the
same monastery
Day 15. Namoboudha - Pharping
Departure by car to Pharping and visit of the Vajra Yogini temple
and Sheshnarayan, in same time the cave of Padmasambhaba (Guru
Rimpoche). Night in the Ragzin Drubpe Ghatsal monastery.
Day 16. Pharping visit
Visit of monastery and of Dakshin Kali temple (place of sacrifice
to the goddess Kali). Night in the Ragzin Drubpe Ghatsal monastery.
Day 17. Pharping - Kathmandu
Return in Kathmandu by local bus. Hotel near of Thamel and after
noon free, hotel included.
Day 18. Kathmandu
Free day in Kathmandu, hotel included.
Day 19. Kathmandu
Transport to airport 3 hours before of your plane departure. |

Treks
in lodge:
Welcome at the airport,
transfer to hotel/airport. Comfortable 2 stars hotel (near center
of Thamel) with breakfast, rooms with double bed/shower. All
treks are in full board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges
(good quality locale food, the meals are not order by each
client in every lodge, but following the menu proposed by the
guide). All the transports (go/back on the places of trek
and during the trek).Plane
Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu.
Accompany by a professional Guide and one porter for 2 persons
to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking permit
and reconfirmation of your return plane ticket.

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |
